What happens during a reading?

Typically, I begin with an overview which is basically an “energy read”. I step into your energy field and relay what I see, feel, or hear has occurred and is coming up. Then I open up to any messages or confirmations from spirit for you. These can be details or messages from people who have passed, guides and guardians, or your collective (souls connected to you across time through shared purpose).

Are readings as effective virtually as they are in person?

I can’t speak for all intuitive practitioners but, for me, there is no difference in reading for someone in person vs. virtually. I don’t need to see you in person to connect with your energy. I offer readings via video conferencing forums, FaceTime, or regular phone calls. All work for me equally well.

Why didn’t certain people come through in the reading?

I have no control over which spirit enters the space or what area or topic spirit wants to talk about with you. You may not always hear from the people you hoped to connect with during our reading, but I feel strongly that the necessary messages and information find you.

Should I prepare for the reading in some way?

Prior to the reading, you may want to take a minute to just breathe and open yourself up to the process. It’s helpful to clear your space of distractions whether that be people, noise, clutter, etc. Have a pen and paper ready for notes, even if you are choosing to record the audio. Sometimes information may not make total sense at the time of the reading. Taking notes on points that caught your attention may be meaningful after the reading when you have sat with the experience for a bit. It's also helpful to have prepared a few questions prior to the reading if you are hoping to tap into specific information.

What happens if I am not alone, or other people are in the room during my reading?

It is best to be alone in a space for your reading unless you are doing a group reading or sharing your reading with a guest. If you have non-participants viewing/listening to the reading, it is possible that the energy I read or the spirits that come through are connected to them rather than you. In group readings, I read each person present to ensure everyone gets the messages/information intended for them. It is also ok to have pets with you.
